On Strike Against GE & NBC & Letterman

Harvey Pekar paid several visits to that late-nite asshole, David "Fuckteeth" Letterman. I only saw two, including the infamous GE rant when it was aired. Harvey strolled out wearing an "On Strike Against NBC" t-shirt and proceeded to launch into a political tyrade against General Electric and NBC. The next time I saw him on, he refused to answer any direct questions as I remember, opting instead to drop and perform military presses or something similar, something I'm sure Davey is too anemic to do.

Harvey wrote at-length in American Splendor about these debacles, explaining not only how rude the host was to him and his wife, but the difficulties he encountered getting his promised fee for the appearances and having his sleeping accommodations paid for. So fuck you, Dave, for not dropping dead before Harvey. Nice teeth, you fuckin' queen.
